According to NSA, the hardest area of the insured crop on December 1, 2018, increased the Volga Federal district – here the insured 445 thousand hectares of crops, or 73% more than in 2017 on the same date (257 hectares). The growth showed the southern Federal district (+13%, to 174 thousand hectares this year) and the far Eastern Federal district (+5% insured 46 thousand hectares). The number of insured farm animals increased in Siberia (from 2.3 million to 5.2 million heads, an increase of 129%), the Urals (from 4.8 million to 7.4 million heads, an increase of 54%) and Central Federal district (from 33.6 to 37.7 million head, +12%) and Volga (from 11.2 to 12.3 million head million head, +10%).

Insurance companies, who are members of NSA do not have the right to enter into contracts of insurance with state support.
