Experts of the Russian Guild of bakers and confectioners (Rospik) srednelistovoy predict the growth of prices for bread made of wheat flour of I and II varieties by 5-6%. On this day, March 16, reports RIA Novosti.

According to Respec, at the beginning of 2019 the price of bread and wheat flour of I and II grades declined to about 1.1%, but by year-end bakers predict a rise in prices for this product by 5-6%.

However, the Guild noted that the statistics did not confirm the significant influence of changes in prices of transportation services and packaging on prices of bakery products.

"Respec forecast for growth of prices for bread in 2019 at 5-6%, based on the available data, is stored," — said in the Guild.

Also in Respec noted that the price of bread from wheat flour with the beginning of the year has not changed.
