The turnover for March 2019 increased compared to the same period last year by 3% and amounted to 231,3 billion tariff ton-km freight Turnover taking into account the mileage of the cars unladen during the same period grew by 3.1% and amounted 294,9 billion ton-km.

Loading in January-March 2019, according to operative data, amounted to 318,7 million tons, which is 0.7% more than in the same period last year.

The Railways shipped:

• coal with 97.1 million tonnes (+2.3% versus January-March, 2018);
• coke of 2.83 million tons (+3%);
• oil and oil products – stood at 60.6 million tons (+0,8%);
• iron ore and manganese – 29.3 million tons (+7,7%);
• ferrous metals – 19.4 million tons (-1,7%);
• scrap – 2.8 million tons (+12.3 percent);
• chemical and mineral fertilizers – 15,5 million tons (+1,4%);
• cement – 4.6 million tons (+2.3 percent);
• timber – 11 million tons (-3,2%);
• grain of 6.04 million tonnes (-15,4%);
• building materials – 27.2 million tons (-5,3%);
• nonferrous ore and sulphur raw materials – 4.6 million tons (-3,1%);
• chemicals and soda – 6.6 million tons (-3%);
• industrial raw materials and molding materials – 7.9 million tonnes (-4,8%).

Cargo turnover since the beginning of 2019 made 651,8 billion tariff ton-km (+2.4%), cargo turnover with consideration of the mileage of the cars unladen – 832,3 billion ton-km (+2.5 percent).
