The main types of imported products in the period under review was finished food products (canned meat and fish, frozen foods, dairy foods) – to 30.15 % of total imports, fish and seafood (of 23.32 %), feeds and feed additives (15.2 per cent).

These data were obtained by employees of the Federal state budget institution "Russian state Center of quality and standardization medicines for animals and feed" (fgbi "VGNKI") as a result of analysis of information-analytical system "Argus".

In the period from 27 may to 2 June 2019 7.6% of products (3.4 thousand tons) were imported from the countries of the Eurasian economic Union; 4.1% is from the Asia-Pacific economic cooperation (1,83 thousand tons); and 12% from EU countries (of 5.36 tons).

Delivery of products to the territory of Russia in the period under review was mainly carried out by road and sea transport. The volume of car traffic was 22,04 thousand tons. For sea (container) transport accounted for 13.5 thousand tons, bilge sea transportation of 6.91 thousand tons, rail transport – 2,13 thousand tons, air transport – a 0.02 thousand tons.
