– We annually sown oil crops more than 400 thousand hectares of the farmland. It is important to use domestic breeding material with maximum yield, high oil content and consistently high demand from domestic processing. These are the varieties of today are developing scientists VNIIMK, – said Deputy Minister of agriculture of the region Mikhail Timofeyev.
To date, the Institute has set up 148 varieties in oilseeds such as sunflower, soya, rape, flax and mustard. They sow fields, not only in the Krasnodar region, but also beyond.
As we learned earlier, in 2020 on Kuban is planned in two times to increase the acreage of oilseed rape.
