China can import in 2019/20 MG record volumes of vegetable oils
According to experts of Oil World, in 2019/20 MG China can increase the volume of total imports of vegetable oils and fats to a record 12.5 million tonnes, which was also 7% higher than the level of the previous season (11.64 million tons).

In particular, the new annual highs are expected in the import of palm oil, supplies of which can be increased up to 6.85 million tonnes (+5%), sunflower oil – up to 1,1 million tons (+10%) and soybean oil, up to 1.2 million tons, up 44.5 per cent may exceed the figure 2018/19 MG (0.83 million tons).
