– Our farmers have started the sowing campaign for the harvest next year. Winter crops will be planted more than 1.6 million hectares, about 94% of them is wheat. Today it is our main export commodity and its quality we are fully confident. First of all, because 100% of the areas sown with seed breeding of Kuban, – said the Governor.

According to him, no region of Russia has such a powerful resource for grades of winter crops, as the Krasnodar Krai.

The seeds created by our scientists, are adapted to any climatic conditions, so regardless of weather conditions, farmers can obtain high and qualitative yields of grain, – said Veniamin Kondratiev.

According to him, agrarians are provided with all necessary mineral fertilizers, fuel, equipment. In the field will come more than 30 thousand units of agricultural machinery, including 6 thousand seeders and sowing complexes, is able to sow up to 100 thousand hectares every day.

In the fall of 2018 Kuban agrarians planted winter grain crops golosovye of 1.58 million hectares. The share of Kuban in gross production of grain in Russia amounts to 12% in the southern Federal district – 45%.
