The Congress was held from 6 to 9 February in Kazan representatives of 25 countries and 50 regions of Russia. As stated in the plenary session Pekurovskaya, RSSM is the only Federal organization representing the interests of rural youth in Russia. Thanks to the accumulated over 11 years of experience, the experts of RSSM within the framework of the onf project "Village. The territory of development" has launched a brand new development mechanisms of rural areas, which may be relevant in other countries.

Pekurovskaya told by the example of the ten teams of development, as experts project the popular front spent with them training, have identified a potential site on the basis of which was created a unique business projects.

"The key role played by the brand of these projects are integrated in a modern space, it attracts tourists and investors. This mechanism transforms the village, becomes the impetus for socio-economic growth many rural areas of the country," said Pekurovskaya.

The Congress was attended by members of the development teams of the onf project "Village. The territory of development" from Novosibirsk, Tyumen regions and the Krasnodar region, to share experiences in the implementation of their business practices, as well as together to define goals for this year.

"The exchange of experience and contacts is an important component of such activities, it helps the project to grow and move forward, – said a member of the development team of the Novosibirsk region Anton Rekhtin. In the framework of the onf project "Village. The territory of development," the initiative group from Moshkovsky district Barlakskoe of the village Council plans to create a tourist center of apitherapy. According to Rekhtina, until the development team addresses issues with the acquisition of the property land plot for construction of a Chalet for the center. However, activists have already joined local residents for the development of their homeland – equipped pond, has launched a fish in it, engaged in infrastructure development – built two nursery schools and a health post.

"Last year, thanks to the help of the member of the Central headquarters of the popular front, Chairman of RSSM Yulia Ogloblinoj were able to reach agreement with the Bank which issued us the credit for the construction of a school for over 500 students. In September this year it will open its doors to children", – shared his success Rechtin.
