Yakutia sets to increase breeding cattle
Within last 20 years milk yield significantly decreased, cattle breeders intend to increase indicators

- The republican Ministry of Agriculture sets goals to increase volume of commodity production and competitive performance of local products, to upgrading of agricultural machinery fleet, to raise living standard in village.
- Cattle breeders of Yakutia are interested in increase in a breeding cattle livestock.
- Milk yield in the Republic is only 2 thousand liters, whereas 20 years ago it was from 4 to 6 thousand liters.
- This year cattle breeders plan to purchase 2100 heads of breeding animals: 1 200 heads of dairy cattle and 900 of meat cattle by means of Rosagroleasing
- The priority direction in development of agro-industrial complex is family farms support in the republic.
