According to Agro2b.ru with reference to Agency Reuters, El Nino brought dry weather that slowed down the production of palm oil in the world.

Palm oil production in January amounted to $ 2.440 million tons ,slightly below the December result of 2.457 million tons. The production of oil in December, the lowest level since March 2015.
