Agricultural producers of the Crimea completely will provide demand of the Republic in food grain for the production of bread and pasta. As reported today at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Minister of agriculture of the Republic Andrei Grigorenko, as of June 27, milled 243 thousand tons of early grain.

"Starting from 14 June, Crimea started harvesting of early grain crops. Harvest of the current year, 10 days ahead of the previous year. According to operational data, have to remove more than 490 thousand hectares of early grain and leguminous crops, which is 17 thousand hectares, or 3.6% more in comparison with the year 2015, " he said. – As of June 27, in the Republic actually were thrashed, which is 94 thousand hectares of early grains, or 19% of the forecast. Milled 243 thousand tons, which is 2,7 times more in comparison with year 2015".

At the current date the average yield of early grain crops, according to the Minister, is 25.9 centners from hectare. "Agricultural producers fully meet the needs of the Republic of grain for the production of bread and pasta is 200 thousand tons", – said Grigorenko.

The leaders in terms of cleaning are the Soviet, Lenin and Simferopol areas.
