In the southern Federal district grain crops throughout the areas 206,7 thousand hectares (in 2015 – 88,6 thousand hectares) harvested 1 million 123 thousand tons of grain with a yield of 54.3 per hectare (in 2015 489,1 thousand tons with a yield of 55.2 kilograms per hectare). Of them in the Republic of Adygea threshed 17.8 thousand hectares (in 2015 and 5.6 thousand hectares) of grain crops harvested 90,7 thousand tons of grain (in 2015 – 30 thousand tonnes), yield is 50.9 per hectare (in 2015 – 53.8 kg per hectare). In the Republic of Kalmykia threshed 12.7 thousand hectares in 2015 and 6.3 thousand hectares) of grain crops harvested 41.9 thousand tons of grain (in 2015 and 16.1 thousand tonnes), yield is 32.9 quintals per hectare (in 2015 – up to 25.6 quintals per hectare). In the Krasnodar region threshed 176,1 thousand hectares in 2015, i.e. 73.7 thousand ha), harvested 990,4 thousand tons of grain (in 2015 431,7 thousand tonnes), yield 56.2 kilograms per hectare (2015, 58.6 kilograms per hectare).

In the North Caucasus Federal district grain crops throughout the areas of 343,1 thousand hectares (in 2015 – 193.1 thousand hectares) harvested 1 million 429 thousand tons of grain with a yield of 41.6 kg per hectare (in 2015 652,1 thousand tons with a yield of 33.8 quintals per hectare). Of them in the Stavropol region threshed 337,5 thousand hectares (in 2015 180,7 thousand tonnes) harvested 1 million 410 thousand tons of grain yield is 41.8 quintals per hectare (in 2015 34,7 quintals per hectare). In Kabardino-Balkaria threshed 3.7 million hectares of grain crops harvested 13.5 million tons of grain yield of 36.7 centners from hectare. In the Karachay-Cherkess Republic threshed 0,1 thousand hectares of grain crops, yielding 0.2 thousand tons of grain, the yield is 28.3 quintals per hectare. In the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania threshed 1.8 thousand hectares of grain crops harvested 5.4 million tons of grain yields is 29.6 kg per hectare.

In the Crimean Federal district grain crops throughout the areas of 120.2 thousand hectares in 2015 – 34.8 thousand hectares) harvested 316,2 thousand tons of grain with a yield of 26.3 kilograms per hectare (in 2015 – 94.8 million tonnes at a yield of 27.3 kilograms per hectare).

In the Krasnodar region, Kabardino-Balkaria, Astrakhan and Rostov areas is the harvesting of early potatoes. Collected of 59.1 thousand tons with a yield 151,9 kg/ha.

In the Krasnodar territory, the Republic of Crimea, Kalmykia, Astrakhan, Volgograd and Rostov regions is harvesting of early vegetables. Total collected of 164.5 thousand tons, including 48,1 thousand tons of peas.
