By the end of June of the current year Ukraine imported 16.7 thousand tonnes of palm oil against 9.3 million tons in June last year. Compared to the previous month noted the increase in purchases of palm oil by nearly 5 million tonnes (11.8 thousand tons in may 2016).

By the end of this 2015/16 season (September-June) import of palm oil from Ukraine ahead of the previous season by more than 26%. So, for ten months imported 153 thousand tons against 120,9 thousand tons a year earlier. Purchases of oil in the current season below the average for ten years, more than 60 thousand tons.

The main suppliers of palm oil to Ukraine in the current 2015/16 season (September-June) are traditionally Malaysia imports about 60% and Indonesia with a share of over 33%. In June, Malaysia has strengthened its position as the main supplier of palm trees in Ukraine, putting in just one month, more than 13 thousand tons of this product.

Will serve, whether the abolition in July of this year, export duties of 3% incentive for the intensification of trade relations with Indonesia, shows the results of the current month.
