"In 2016, signed a preliminary agreement to sell about 200 thousand tons of grain in Novosibirsk region in the Russian Federation", — the press service quoted the words of the Minister of agriculture of the region Vasily Pronkin.

According to V. Pronkina, Novosibirsk farmers participated in the intervention tenders for grain harvest in 2016. On the first day of the Novosibirsk farmers sold about ten thousand tons of grain.

"In the region to participate in the auction accredited on 26 farms is a good indicator that is, nevertheless, possible and necessary to increase", — said the Minister.

He added that the harvesting campaign in the Novosibirsk region is nearing completion, we have already harvested over 2.3 mln tonnes of grains, power elevators eliminate the appearance of problems with storage of the crop. Currently, grain crops threshed on an area of 1.4 million hectares, accounting for 90.4 percent of the plan. The average yield in the region is equal to 16.8 kg/ha. To carry out the harvesting campaign this year aimed 620 million.
