He also recalled that during the period of the fishing season was planned to produce around 154 thousand tons of fish, including about 92 thousand tons on the East coast of the region. Starting the predictions of science on the West coast of Kamchatka was expected to produce only 10 thousand tons of pink salmon.

"This year on the West coast produced 74 thousand tons of pink salmon. If such an approach were ready for shore plants, the catch could be 100 thousand tons. However, this result was higher than our expectations", — said the Deputy Chairman.

According to territorial Administration of Federal Agency for fishery, only in the far East caught more than 400 thousand tons of salmon. The leader of the production is the Kamchatka Krai.

In the Sakhalin region, the fishermen got more than 90 thousand tons by 11.3% less than the year before. In the Khabarovsk region, salmon have provided the catches 76.3 thousand tons. In Primorsky Krai caught 4.23 thousand tons. In the Magadan region of the catch made up 3.68 million tonnes. In Chukotka produced more than 1.6 thousand tons.
