Chinese consumers are beginning to use the Russian sunflower oil. This was on the sidelines of the China international exhibition of small and medium enterprises (CISMEF-2016) told the correspondent of TASS, the Russian manufacturers.

"We are working with China for two years and are actively promoting (vegetable) oil, which is shipped as the products are premium and are in the price range, bordering on olive oil", - said the representative of the group of companies "Yug Rusi" Mr dawn.

"It begins to appear, and Chinese companies promote it among the local population through advertising, that helps us. In 2017 we expect to put a thousand tons per month is not enough, the Chinese market is promising. In addition to sunflower oil, we are also considering the possibility of exports to China of oil from soybeans", - he concluded.

The sales Director of the holding "Solar products" - Alexey Karpov-the prospects with more cautious optimism. "This market segment is relatively small, so the total consumption is still small. But it's an interesting direction, it is necessary to work", - he explained.

As stated by the Secretary-General of the Russian center at the Chinese Association for the development of enterprises abroad (CODARC) Zhang Min, oil is in high demand in the Chinese market. "Russian oil is in good demand among Russian buyers in the near future its imports to China will only grow", - said the source.

According to information-analytical portal "Zhongguo Chang'e, Sinsian", in 2000 the consumption of sunflower oil in China reached 335 thousand tonnes, and in 2014 the figure had risen to 955 thousand tons. The exhibition CISMEF-2016 held in Guangzhou (coastal Guangdong province, South China) from 10 to 13 October. The event is held on an annual basis since 2004, its organizers are the Ministry of industry and information technology of the PRC, the State industrial and commercial administration of PRC and people's government of Guangdong province.
