Then in the negotiations participated representatives of the Ministry of agriculture, the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Embassy of Venezuela in Russia, Russian companies-exporters, as well as Venezuelan state-owned Corpovex responsible for the import of grain crops in the country.
During the negotiations the delegation of Venezuela expressed a high interest in imports of Russian grain.
"In the coming days, according to the decree of President Putin we will close the agreement, to ensure (supply - ed.) of all the grain that you want Venezuela bread, it concerns a residue of this year, 2017 and 2018," said Maduro during the event in Caracas.
The Venezuelan President noted that Russia is the largest grain producer in the world.
