The head of the region Veniamin Kondratiev congratulated the rice growers of the Kuban region with a record harvest.

"Legendary milestone of 1 million tons of Kuban rice – taken", — said the Governor.

According to Veniamin Kondratiev, such a crop is a historic event for the region. The best in terms of rice production on 1 hectare of steel Kalininskiy rayon – yield of 83 t/ha, Krasnoarmeysky district is 76.8 kg/ha, Slavyanskiy rayon – yield 76,2 kg/ha.

A rice harvest in Krasnodar Krai for the first time gathered in its history. Million tons in 1980 Kuban rice farmers was obtained, together with enterprises of the Republic of Adygea, then part of the Krasnodar region.
