In the near future from the Novorossiysk port in the Republic will ship the first batch of corn with a volume of 64.5 thousand tons. According to the Agency, in the current agricultural year, Vietnam will be able to import 2.7 million tonnes of wheat and 6.5 million tonnes of maize.

The great demand for grain is associated with the growth in the Republic in population, development of beef cattle and therefore needs to forage resources, and the lack of in-country grain production.

Russia won the right to supply grain vegetable produce after the inclusion of Vietnam in a permanent register exporters. This was supposed to take effect the changes needed for access to the market, including in relation to protein content and conditions of supply of products by sea.
