In October of this year on foreign markets was delivered to 435 thousand tons of corn and 183,3 thousand tons of barley, while in the same month last year, the country exported 589,8 thousand tons of corn and 640,9 thousand tons of barley.

French grain in large quantities were exported to EU countries. Also actively bought French corn countries such as the Netherlands (of 115.1 thsd tonnes), Spain (113.5 thousand tons), Germany (55,3 thousand tonnes) and Belgium (54,6 thousand tons). Russia had sent 0,4 thousand tons of corn. The largest importers of barley are: Belgium (86,1 thousand tons), Spain (31.4 thousand tons) and the Netherlands (23 tons).

According to the forecast of analysts at FranceAgriMer, France more than 15% to reduce the export of corn and more than 40% barley. The reason for this decrease was the reduction of the harvest and the fall in external demand for cereals.
