World barley production is reduced 0.1 million tons in 2016/17 MG
World production of barley in 2016/17 MG will decline by 0.1 million tonnes to 143,9 million tons, according to a February report from the Ministry of agriculture, U.S. (USDA)

It is noted that barley production in Ukraine is overvalued in favor of increasing by 0.1 million tonnes to 9.9 million tonnes.
The volume of world trade in barley stays steady export growth in Kazakhstan (+0.3 MT to 1 MT) were offset by reductions in supply from the EU (-0,3 million tons; and 5.9 million tonnes).
Recall that Ukraine at the end of 2016 increased export of barley by 0.17 million tonnes to 4.8 million tonnes (up 4.63 million tonnes in 2015).
