Canada exported nearly 23 million tons of grain since the beginning of the season

For 28 weeks of the current season, which began on 1 August 2016 Canada put foreign markets of 22.9 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops.
Compared with last season, exports of wheat fell to 7.2 million tons (-19%), hard wheat – 2.3 million tonnes (-13%). At the same time increased the export of canola – up to 5.8 million tonnes (+9%), soybeans – up to 3.3 million t (+21%), peas – to 2.1 mln t (+20%).
