The export of Ukrainian soybean oil reached a record
In March of this year, soybean oil exports from Ukraine reached 23.7 thousand tons from 11.6 million tons in February 2016 and 14.5 thousand tons in March 2016, updating the previous monthly record, which was recorded in March 2015 – 22.1 thousand tons

Accordingly, the results of the export trade for seven months of the 2016/17 season came to a record level of 99.5 thousand tons, export statistics ahead of last season's 9.3% (September-March 2015/16 – 91 thousand tons).

In this season, the geography of exports of soybean oil from Ukraine expanded to 23 countries. While Poland remains the leader among the importers increased purchases to 34.6 thousand tons (35% of total exports) versus 27.0 thousand tons a year earlier. This season, the stable demand from India brought this country among the TOP importers with an export share of 28%. China, by contrast, have reduced imports of soybean oil from Ukraine to 13.3 thousand tons from 53.1 thousand tons a year earlier. Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia only began purchases of Ukrainian product, but also occupied a significant niche in the structure of exports of 7% and 5%, respectively.
