From 1 January to 15 may 2017, agricultural producers purchased 1656,7 thousand tonnes of mineral fertilizers, which is 1693,1 thousand tonnes more than at the same date last year.

Average prices for the most popular fertilizer (including VAT, packaging, transport and distribution costs) decreased compared to the same date in 2016 and were as follows: for ammonium nitrate 13 799 thousand rubles per ton (-9%), urea – 18 185 thousand rubles per ton (-8%), potassium chloride – 14 832 thousand rubles per ton (-6%), azofoska – 20 of 60 thousand rubles per ton (-15%), ammophos – 27 778 thousand rubles per ton (-12%).
