According to operative data of the Federal customs service of Russia on 17 may, 2017 2016/2017 in the current agricultural year exported crops 32 230 thousand tons, which is 1.2% higher than the same period last season (31 861 thousand tons). The volume of wheat exports for the season totaled 24 873 thousand tons (+8.0% on the same period of 2015/16 season), maize – 4 459 thousand tons (+2.3 percent), barley – 2 666 thousand tons (-36,2%).

As of may 15, 2017, the wholesale prices in the European part of the country for wheat flour amounted to 15 215 RUB./t (-0,1% in a week -6,8% YTD), flour of rye – 11 615 RUB/ton (0,0%, -4,9% YTD).
