Analysts UkrAgroConsult say that this is the highest figure since 2011/12, when foreign markets were supplied 281,7 thousand tons of sunflower.

The main markets of sunflower remain the European Union and Turkey. The share of EU countries accounted for 67% of total exports of sunflower seeds from Ukraine. During the reporting period, Turkey imported 43 million tonnes of sunflower seeds from Ukraine, which is 2.5 times more than was exported to this market for the whole of last MG.

Recall that the Ukraine in may 2017, exported 5,68 thousand tons of sunflower seeds, which is 25,95% less than in April 2017 (7,67 t).
