In the Russian Federation started harvesting grain and leguminous crops. First it started of economy of the Republic of Crimea, Adygea, Dagestan and Krasnodar Krai.

Adverse weather conditions sowing in the spring and unstable weather beginning of summer of current year has shifted the seasonal field work at a later date, due to which cleaning work began 2 weeks later than last year.

As of June 26, 2017 in the whole country harvested grains throughout the area of 30.5 thousand hectares (in 2016 258,8 thousand ha), harvested 117,9 thousand tons of grain with the average yield of 38.7 q/ha (in 2016, 1.1 million tons with a yield of 44.2 kg/ha).

In the Republic of Adygea threshed 0.3 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 10.5 thousand hectares) of grain crops harvested 1.8 tons of grain (in 2016 – 50,6 thousand tons), the yield is 60 t/ha (in 2016 – 48.1 kg/ha).

In the Krasnodar region threshed 7.2 thousand ha (in 2016 of 86.9 thousand hectares) harvested 45.4 thousand tons of grain (in 2016 – 484,5 million tons), the yield is 63.1 dt/ha (in 2016 and 55.8 t/ha).

In the Republic of Crimea threshed 20.7 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 51.4 thousand ha), harvested 65.4 thousand tons of grain (in 2016 131.0 thousand tonnes), yield is 31.6 C/ha (in 2016 – 25,5 kg/ha).

In the Republic of Dagestan threshed 2.3 thousand hectares harvested 5.3 thousand tons of grain yield was 23.0 kg/ha.

Mass harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in the southern and North Caucasian Federal districts will begin in the first or second week of July.
