Ukraine for the first 5 months of 2017, imported 23,64 thousand tons of maize for the sum of $of 92.97 million, as evidenced by the data of GFS.

The supply of corn in Ukraine in the reporting period was carried out from Romania ($28,32 million), France ($21,21 million) and Hungary ($of 19.72 million) and other countries. The amount of postavok from these countries amounted to 8.2 thousand tons, of 5.39 million tonnes, of 5.01 thousand MT of corn, respectively.

Recall that in January-may 2017 Ukraine exported 11,86 million MT of corn for $1.85 billion.
