In the regions southern and North Caucasian Federal districts continue the harvesting campaign and legumes.

As of July 10, 2017 in the whole country harvested grains throughout the area of about 1.3 million ha (in 2016 and 2.6 million ha), and produced 5.8 mln tonnes of grains (in 2016 – 11.2 million tons) with a yield of 46.2 t/ha (in 2016 – 43.5 C/ha).

Including in the southern Federal district grain and legumes threshed with square 868,8 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 1.6 million hectares). Produced 4.3 million tons of grain (in 2016 – 7.1 million tons) with a yield of 49.8 centners/ha (in 2016 and 45.2 t/ha).

In the North Caucasus Federal district threshed 393,1 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 1.0 million ha). Harvested 1.5 million tons of grain (in 2016 – 4.0 million tonnes), with a yield of 38.4 t/ha (in 2016 – 41,6 C/ha).

Winter rape in the Republics of Adygea, Crimea, North Ossetia (Alania), the Krasnodar, Stavropol and the Chechen Republic threshed with an area of 30.5 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 34.9 thousand ha), harvested and 63.9 thousand tons (in 2016 – 67,1 thousand tonnes), yield of 20.9 t/ha (in 2016 is 19.2 t/ha).

In agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms of the Astrakhan region, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, and the Krasnodar territory dug 1.7 thousand hectares of early potatoes, dig 36.5 thousand tonnes of potatoes with a yield of 218.6 kg/ha.

Vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms of the Astrakhan region, the Krasnodar territory, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Volgograd region removed from the area of 10,9 thousand hectares, collected 90 thousand tons with a yield of 82.6 kg/ha.
