In the regions southern and North Caucasian Federal districts continue the harvesting campaign and legumes.

As of July 11, 2017 in the whole country harvested grains throughout the area of about 2.1 million ha (in 2016 and 3.2 million ha), and produced 9.1 million tons of grain (in 2016, 13.8 million tons) with a yield of 44.1 kg/ha (in 2016 – 43,4 t/ha).

Including in the southern Federal district grain and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 1.4 mln ha (in 2016 2.0 million ha). Harvested 6.6 mln tonnes of grains (in 2016 – 9.1 million tons) with a yield of 46.5 t/ha (in 2016 of 45.4 t/ha).

In the North Caucasus Federal district threshed 648,1 thousand hectares (in 2016 and 1.1 million hectares). Harvested 2.5 million tons of grain (in 2016 is 4.4 million tons), with a yield of 38.7 q/ha (in 2016 – 41,2 kg/ha).

Winter and spring wheat in the whole country throughout the areas of 1.2 mln ha (2016 – 2.1 million hectares). Russia produced 5.7 million tons of grain (in 2016 is 9.8 million tonnes), with a yield of 46.4 t/ha (in 2016 of 45.4 t/ha).

Winter and spring barley throughout the areas of 481,4 thousand hectares (in 2016 561,9 thousand hectares). Harvested 2.1 million tons (2016 – 2.3 million tonnes) with the yield of 43.3 C/ha (in 2016 of 40.8 t/ha).

Winter rape in the Republics of Adygea, Crimea, North Ossetia (Alania), the Krasnodar, Stavropol and the Chechen Republic throughout the areas of 35.3 thousand hectares (in 2016, 37.5 thousand ha), and produced 69 million tonnes (2016 – 72,3 thousand tons), yield of 19.5 t/ha (in 2016 is 19.3 kg/ha).

In agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms of the Astrakhan region, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, and the Krasnodar territory dug 2 thousand hectares of early potatoes, dig to 43.8 thousand tonnes of potatoes with a yield of 214,9 kg/ha.

Vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms of the Astrakhan region, the Krasnodar territory, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Volgograd region harvested from an area of 11.9 thousand hectares, collected of 102.9 thousand tons with a yield of 86.2 kg/ha.
