The Ministry of agriculture of France published its first forecast of production of soft wheat in 2017. 36.2 million tonnes with an average yield of 7.04 t/ha and the sown area – 5,147 million ha. last year the country collected 27,87 million tons.

Barley production is expected to reach 12.2 million tons (10.31 million tons in 2016.), including 9.7 million tons of winter barley and 2.5 million tonnes of spring barley.

Rapeseed production is expected at the level of the previous year – 4.7 million tons with a yield of 3.2 t/ha.
