World soybean oil exports in June increased by 8%
According to analysts Oil World, the global shipment of soy oil in June this year increased by 8% compared with the same month in the previous year to 872 thousand tons

The increase in supply of the product in the context of processing of soybeans was observed, primarily from Argentina – 550 (492) thousand tons. Also, increased exports from Paraguay – 83 (73) thousand tons. Shipments from Brazil remained at the level of last year – 179 (172) thousand tonnes, and exports from the United States decreased to 60 (72) thousand tons.

The key buyer of soybean oil in the reporting month was India and 0.43 (0.39 in) million tons. Seasonal increase in purchases was observed in South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Peru, Iran and South Korea.

At the same time, in January-June of world soybean oil exports dropped to 4.43 (4,6) million tonnes due to the reduction of volumes of deliveries to the countries of Africa to 364 (691) tons.
