In the regions southern, North Caucasian, Privolzhsky and Central Federal districts continued harvesting of crops. For the harvesting season began separate regions of the North-Western, Siberian and far Eastern Federal districts.

As of July 28, 2017 in the whole country grain and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 8.7 mln ha (in 2016 10.7 million hectares), or 18,2% of the cultivated area, and produced 37.4 million tonnes of grain (in 2016 – 41.4 million tons) with a yield of 42.9 t/ha (2016 – 38.9 C/ha).

Including in the southern Federal district grain and legumes threshed from the area of 5.6 million ha (in 2016 and 5.1 million hectares). Produced 24.3 million tons of grain (in 2016 21.7 million tons) with a yield of 43.6 C/ha (in 2016 – 42,3 t/ha).

In the North Caucasus Federal district threshed 2.2 million hectares (in 2016 – 2.1 million ha). Harvested 9.3 million tons of grain (in 2016 is 8.8 million tonnes), with a yield of 41.6 C/ha (in 2016 – 41,3 kg/ha).

In the Volga Federal district threshed 254 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 2.1 million ha). Harvested 762,5 thousand tons of grain (in 2016, 5 million tons), with a yield of 31.1 C/ha (in 2016 of 27.3 t/ha).

In the Central Federal district threshed 618,6 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 1.3 million hectares). Harvested 2.9 million tonnes of grain (in 2016 and 5.1 million tons), with a yield of 46.5 t/ha (in 2016 of 40.3 t/ha).

Winter and spring wheat in the whole country throughout the areas of 7.2 mln ha (in 2016 is 8.1 million hectares) or 25.7% of the cultivated area. Harvested 31.7 million tons of grain (in 2016 – 33,0 million tons), with a yield of 44.4 t/ha (in 2016 – 40,9 kg/ha)

Winter and spring barley throughout the areas of 1.1 mln ha (in 2016 – 1.2 million ha) or 13.7% of the cultivated area. Harvested 4.1 million tons (in 2016 and 4.3 million tons) with a yield of 37.4 C/ha (in 2016 – 34.8 C/ha).

Rapeseed throughout the areas of 113.7 thousand hectares (in 2016 – 58,2 thousand hectares), or 11.1% of the sown area, harvested 225,4 thousand tons (in 2016 of 114.5 thousand tons) with a yield of 19.8 t/ha (in 2016 – 19.7 C/ha).

In agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) excavated 9,9 thousand hectares of early potatoes (in 2016 – 13.1 thousand ha) or 3.3% of the planting area, dig 255,7 thousand tons of tubers (in 2016 310,9 thousand tons) with a yield of 257,3 C/ha (in 2016 236,8 kg/ha).

Vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) harvested from an area of 20.2 hectares (in 2016 – is 31.9 hectares) or 11.5% of the cultivated area, collected 248 thousand tons (in 2016 392,3 tons) with a yield of 123 kg/ha (in 2016 – 123.2 kg/ha).
