According to operational data of the agricultural administrative bodies of constituent entities of the Russian Federation as of August 9, 2017 in the whole country grains and legumes threshed from the area of 13.4 million hectares or 27.9 percent to cultivated area (in 2016 18.4 million ha). Produced by 55.4 million tons of grain (in 2016, and 64.5 million tons), with a yield of 41.4 kg/ha (in 2016 – 35,1 t/ha).

Including in the southern Federal district grain and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 6.7 mln ha, or 76.4% to cultivated area (in 2016 and 6.3 million hectares). Harvested 28.7 million tonnes of grain (in 2016 – 25.7 million tons), with a yield of 42.6 t/ha (in 2016 – 40,6 kg/ha).

In the North Caucasus Federal district threshed 2.5 million ha or 79.1 percent to cultivated area (in 2016 2.5 mln ha). Produced 10.3 million tons of grain (in 2016 – 10.0 million tonnes), with a yield of 41.2 C/ha (in 2016 – 40,9 kg/ha).

In the Central Federal district threshed 2.4 million hectares or 29.4% of the cultivated area (and in 2016 – 3.7 million hectares). Produced 11.3 million tons of grain (in 2016, 14.2 million tonnes), with a yield of 46.3 t/ha (in 2016 – 38,4 t/ha).

In the Volga Federal district threshed 1.5 million hectares or 11.3% of the cultivated area (in 2016 – 5.6 million hectares). Harvested 4.7 million tons of grain (in 2016 13.7 million tons), with a yield of 32.8 t/ha (in 2016 – 24,9 kg/ha).

In the far Eastern Federal district threshed 33,1 thousand hectares or 10.1% of the cultivated area (in 2016 and 33.4 thousand hectares). Produced 69.3 thousand tons of grain (in 2016 – 68,3 thousand tons), with a yield of 20.9 t/ha (in 2016 – 20,4 t/ha).

In the Siberian Federal district threshed 144,9 thousand hectares or 1.4% of the cultivated area (in 2016 186,8 thousand hectares). Harvested 299,6 thousand tons of grain (in 2016 464,3 thousand tons), with a yield of 20.7 C/ha (in 2016 – 24,9 kg/ha).

In the North-Western Federal district threshed 2.7 thousand hectares or 0.8% of the cultivated area (in 2016 – 40,5 thousand hectares). Produced 11.7 thousand tons of grain (in 2016 of 128.6 thousand tonnes), with a yield of 43.7 q/ha (in 2016, from 31.8 kg/ha).

Winter and spring wheat in the whole country throughout the areas of 10.5 mln ha, or 37.8 percent to cultivated area (in 2016 12.1 million hectares). Harvested 46,0 million tons of grain (in 2016 – 46.7 million tons), with a yield to 43.8 C/ha (in 2016 – 38.7 q/ha).

Winter and spring barley throughout the areas of 1.9 mln ha, or 24% of the cultivated area (and in 2016 – 3.3 million hectares). Harvested 6.8 million tons (2016 9.8 million tonnes), with a yield of 35.3 t/ha (in 2016 – 29,2 C/ha).

Rapeseed throughout the areas of 128,1 thousand hectares or 12.5% of the sown area (in 2016 – 74,5 thousand ha). Harvested 267,0 thousand tons (in 2016 144.8 million tons), with a yield of 20.8 t/ha (in 2016 – 19.4 C/ha).

Sugar beets are dug from the area of 15,1 thousand hectares or 1.3 percent to cultivated area (in 2016 – 13.5 thousand ha). However 701,7 thousand tons (in 2016 615,6 thousand tonnes), yield 466,2 C/ha (in 2016 455,7 kg/ha).

Flax iterable with the area of 3.4 thousand hectares or 7.6% of the cultivated area (in 2016 and 8.4 thousand ha).

Potatoes in agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) excavated from the area of 16.2 hectares, or 5.4%, to the landing area (2016 – 18,0 thousand ha). However 400,0 thousand tons of tubers (in 2016 449,2 thousand tonnes), yield 247,2 kg/ha (in 2016 – 250,1 t/ha).

Vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms throughout the areas of 30.2 thousand hectares or 17.2% of the cultivated area (in 2016 – 40,6 thousand hectares). Collected 416,8 thousand tons (in 2016 570,0 thousand tonnes), yield 138,1 C/ha (in 2016 and 140.3 kg/ha).
