In 2017, Bulgaria will collect a record harvest of wheat
According to the forecast of the Ministry of agriculture of Bulgaria, the wheat harvest in the country this year may be on the order of 5.85-5.95 million tons, which is considerably higher than the previous year (5,66 million tons) and would be the highest figure in the country's history, reports SeeNews

As noted in the report of the Ministry, the yield of grain in the current year will increase by approximately 7% compared to the level of 2016, while the indicators of wheat quality will also be significantly higher than last year.
It is also expected that the growth of the crop of Bulgarian wheat, which has already removed 89% of the planned areas planned at 5.14 million tons, will help the country by 15 August to ship to foreign markets about 1 million tons of grain.
