So, in July deliveries to foreign markets was 24.4 thousand tons compared to 26.7 thousand tons in the last month of the current year and 39.5 million tons in July 2016. For eleven months 2016/17 MG Russia exported 1126,7 thousand tons of this product, becoming a minimum value in the last four seasons.

The main directions of export supplies of Russian sunflower meal are still the European countries and Turkey. European countries, remaining the leading importers (48% of total exports), reduced purchases of meal from the Russian Federation by almost 23%. Turkey, on the contrary, in the current season imports 32% more Russian sunflower meal compared to the same period last season and is 42% of total exports.
