"Since the beginning of the current marketing year, Ukraine exported 2.8 million tons of oilseeds, which is 1 million more than last year (in 2016, the export of oil as of November 30 amounted to nearly 1.8 million tons)", - stated in the message.

So, according to the report, farmers exported more than 1.8 million tons of rapeseed, which is 2.2 times more than last year. At the same time, soybean exports for the period amounted to 0,93 million tonnes against 1 mln tonnes in the same period last year.

The press service added that in General, domestic farmers since the beginning of the 2017-2018 MG exported more than 17.8 million tons of grain, which is 5.5% compared to the same period last year. In particular, Ukraine supplied to external markets for 10 million tons of wheat (5.6 million metric tons of food and 4.5 million tons of forage), 3.6 million tonnes of barley, 3.5 million tonnes of maize.

Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian farmers since the beginning of the 2017-2018 MG as of November 29, exported 16.8 million tons of grain. As UNIAN reported earlier, agrarians of Ukraine in the period of 2016-2017 MG exported 43.8 million tons of grain, which is a record for all history of independence of the state. The revenues from grain exports increased by 6% to $ 6.4 billion.

The previous record of grain exports in Ukraine was registered in the 2015-2016 MG at the level of 39.4 million tons.
