In January the exports of Russian grains may reach the 3.6-3.8 million tonnes (of which about 2 million tonnes will be shipped via deepwater ports), predicts the head of analytical center of JSC "Rusagrotrans" Igor Pavensky. This is significantly higher than in January of last year (2.36 million tons), but lower than in December.

"The decline in relation to December was due to the seasonal activity decline in shipments during the Christmas holidays and bad weather conditions in the ports," said I. Pavensky, "Interfax".
