"Grain exports from the region increased in 2017 from 22.8 thousand tonnes to 53,2 thousand tons. Significantly increased exports of oilseeds, canola, China - from 2 thousand to 26.8 thousand tons", - said Sevostyanov.

Also in China from the Novosibirsk region for the first time last year was sent 5 thousand tons of spring wheat. Nearly 9 thousand tons of wheat were delivered to Azerbaijan and 15 thousand tons of buckwheat in Lithuania.

In addition to the growth in supply of plant products in 2017, the 1.5 times increase in the export of products of animal origin and animal feed from 8 thousand to 12.6 thousand tons. "Fodder supply in Mongolia amounted to more than 10 thousand tons. In Lithuania, Denmark and Germany were delivered to 686 tons of fish products (70 tons more than in 2016 - approx. TASS). In China and Mongolia was sent about 200 tons of ice cream, 110 tons properway products - in Germany and Japan", - stressed Sevostyanov.

As reported earlier, the Novosibirsk region has started to export canola to China at the end of 2016. Rapeseed is used to produce animal feed, oil, biodiesel.
