According to monitoring data of "SovEcon", the average price of Russian feed barley was last week $216 (FOB deep-sea ports) – no change to the previous week. It is still trading more expensive wheat, which cost on average $207,5/t (-$0,5/tonne compared to previous week). According to experts "Sovekon", it is the high demand of Saudi Arabia for barley is largely the reason why. The tender is likely to support prices for Russian barley and the pace of exports in coming months.
 
Last week, the Centre "Sovekon" has raised the forecast of Russian export of barley by 0.2 million tons to a record 5.5 million tonnes the Previous record of 5.3 million tonnes was installed in 2014/15.
