Russia reveals 250 tons of pesticide fruit
Specialists of the Central laboratory at Federal Appraisal Center of Quality and Safety of Grain revealed 250 tons of low-quality fruit and vegetable products polluted by pesticides and nitrates.

  • This refers to a consignment of apples from Poland, Italy, Lithuania of 113,8 tons and grapes
    from Turkey and Bulgaria of 136,3 tons. The content of harmful substances in fruit
    exceeds the most admissible level regulated by the Russian quality standards.

  • Meanwhile according to the Central laboratory, within only 7 months of the current year
    about 6 thousand tons of imported fruit and vegetable products not conforming to
    requirements of the national standard documentation have been revealed. And the
    most part of these products arrived from Poland.
