Monsanto said it plans to start selling a new variety of soybean seeds in 2016. The company, located in St. Louis, Missouri, reported that the Ministry of agriculture of the USA at the beginning of this month has prepared an overview of the new seeds in the draft.

Agricultural chemical company sought permission from the Ministry of new seeds from 2010, but the review process was slow, as human rights organizations have questioned the safety of the product.

New seeds developed for growing plants that are resistant to a new generation of herbicide produced by Monsanto under the brand name Roundup.

On the forum of investors Robert Frali, chief engineer at Monsanto, said that the seeds are in the process of obtaining permissions for use. Permission to use in the U.S. is expected for the end of this year, the international permit application in 2015.
