The price of frozen salmon in the Murmansk region after the introduction of an embargo on imports of products from a number of countries has increased by more than 40%. This was reported by ITAR-TASS in the press service of the regional government following the meeting of the operational headquarters for the monitoring of prices.

"The most visible growth among the products recorded on five items: pork, frozen and chilled chickens, frozen intact fish, milk and cheese. On the other socially important food prices have not changed or changed only slightly, less than 1%", - said the press service.

According to the government, since the introduction of the embargo, in particular, has raised the price of cod, herring, trout and salmon on the size from 1.7 to 9.3%. There has been a price reduction from 3% to 15% for whole frozen flounder, capelin, Pollock, trout, fillet of mackerel and Pollock.

In General, according to statistics, in August celebrated the traditional deflation, caused primarily by a significant decline in prices for fruit and vegetables. The exception was some fruit, for example oranges and lemons, which have become much more expensive due to changes in supplier countries.

Over the past two weeks increased the minimum cost of sausage products by several manufacturers due to price increases from suppliers of raw materials.
