The Supreme court has registered a lawsuit "Murmansk fish" to the Russian government on the recognition of partially illegal ban on food imports from the EU, Australia, Canada, Norway and the United States, according to Lenta.ru.

The company samlaut that the embargo violates the rights and lawful interests of the company in the sphere of entrepreneurial activity and illegally creates obstacles for doing business.

"If in the near future sanctions will not be cancelled, the company will not be able to recover", - said the Director of plant Mikhail Tooth. According to the Tooth, he will seek exemptions from the sanctions list of live fish. He said he was ready to participate in making decisions that could eliminate the problem.

Last week the company "Murmansk fish processing plant" stopped due to the lack of raw materials and announced the preparation of a claim to the Government of the Russian Federation.

Mikhail Tooth said that "Murmansk fish processing plant" technologically adapted only to receive live fish with ivorine vessels coming from the field. According to him, the Russian fishing fleet technically is in poor condition, and ivorybill fishing in the country is almost non-existent (according to the Russian Federal fisheries Agency, in Russia only two ships). The company purchased raw materials through the mechanism of the Norwegian auctions Norges Sildesalgslag and Norges Rafisklag by which contracts for the purchase in the second half of 2014, cod, capelin, saithe, haddock and herring in the amount of 31 thousand tons.

In the government of the Murmansk note that "Murmansk fish processing plant" takes about a half percent in the regional fish-processing industry. "Only in the Murmansk region today are 38 fish-processing enterprises, which in 2013 was released a little more than 40 thousand tons of fish a day. Of this amount, "Murmansk fish" released only 660 tons fillet of haddock and cod", - said first Deputy Governor Alexei Tukavin.

Meanwhile, the price of frozen salmon in the Murmansk region since the introduction of an embargo on imports of products from a number of countries has grown by more than 40%.
