The new tenant has delivered to the bankrupt in 2012, the farm is in the Novgorod region the first batch of chickens. Chicken meat production began to develop one of the largest pig farms Novgorod region, said Tuesday the press service of the regional government.

According to authorities, three poultry farms, owned by the bankrupt agrokoncerno "Line", has leased the company “Novgorod bacon“. As explained in the press service, "the property in competitive running, saved, and at any time can be put into operation".

On poultry farms "Novgorod", "Valdai" and "Borovichi" will produce meat broiler, egg and grow pedigree breeding herd.

In particular, from October 1 at the factory "Novgorod" will be laid on the incubation of 1 million eggs. As explained in the government, the company of the Leningrad region (EMF "Russian-Vysokoe"), previously taken on lease the factory, gave it to the citizens.

"All the factories will produce annually at least 30 thousand tons of chicken meat, these amounts will be out for 2015. In total, there will be employed over a thousand people", - said the Vice-Governor Alexander Fighters.

According to Novgorodskaia, in January-August 2014 in the region produced 71.2 thousand tons of meat of livestock and poultry. The decrease in production was recorded at 3.6%. However, in the regional Department of agriculture and food believe that meat production in the area had been kept constant.

According to authorities, the Novgorod region ranks ninth in the country for the production of meat per capita.
