Belarus sees good prospects in enhancing cooperation with Pakistan. This was announced on Thursday, the press Secretary of the foreign Ministry of the Republic Dmitry Mironchik.

"We expect that the opening of our Embassy in Pakistan will give the relationship dynamics", - he said. According to him, the opening ceremony will take place on Thursday in the afternoon with the participation of Deputy foreign Minister of Belarus Valentin Rybakov, 13-14 November is in Pakistan on a working visit.

"The visit comes at the invitation of the Pakistani side for the first round of the political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries", - said the representative of the Belarusian foreign Ministry.

According to him, in addition to talks at the foreign Ministry will meet in the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of defense industry, the national Assembly (Parliament) of Pakistan.

Mironchik noted that Minsk expects to export a wide range of industrial products in Pakistan. "Today this country has a huge market around 180 million people, GDP in 2013 amounted to more than 230 billion dollars, imports about 40 billion dollars", - said the diplomat.

He stressed that "there are prerequisites for sustained growth of bilateral trade, especially export a wide range of Belarusian industrial products, potash fertilizers".

According to Mironchik, cooperation between the two countries is not limited to the economy. Belarus and Pakistan cooperate constructively in international organizations, he said.

Belarus in 2014 opened Embassy in Pakistan, Australia, Mongolia, Ecuador and Qatar. "The plans for the opening of the Belarusian embassies this year fully implemented", - said Mironchik.
