Deputies of the legislative Assembly of Karelia were not excluded from the regional program of privatization of four state farm and one bakery, food security in the region. The bill has not received the required number of votes, told TASS Deputy of the Parliament of the Republic Alexander Stepanov.

According to him, in the face of rising prices, especially for dairy products and meat, the privatization of state farms "tolvuyski", "Vedlozersky", breeding farms "Ilyinskoe" and "Megrahi and bakery in the city of suojärvi not justified economically. "Four out of five enterprises profitable. With their sales government wants to bail out just 167 million rubles in the framework of national projects only "Ilyinskoe" and "Megrew" they have invested more than 100 million rubles", - said Stepanov. He noted that the employees of these state farms, addressed to the deputies of the Legislative Assembly, also against the privatization of enterprises.

Member of the Karelian Parliament Alexander Fedichev during discussions noticed the farms in the villages is the only place of employment of the population, and their privatization is actually hidden the sale of land under the state farms". Deputy Alexander Spiridonov added that the Karelian people no longer drink milk from previously privatized state farms "Tux" and "Agrarian", as local production is purchased outside the region.

The Minister of agriculture, fish and hunting industry of Karelia Grigory Manuilov stated that the company needs to sell. According to him, government support for private and public enterprises are the same. "Enterprises will be sold after the independent evaluation. That is no corruption schemes. In the privatisation plan has 167 million rubles, actually will be bidding procedures for the sale, independent evaluation", - said the Minister.

According to the Ministry, in the Republic in the field of dairy cattle there are 15 companies. They provide the region with milk at 42%. The planned privatization of the farms make up 40% of the total milk produced in Karelia. One of the four companies, state farm "tolvuyski", currently unprofitable, the rest are profitable.
