The representative of the company "DIR", which implements the project, Mikhail Korolev noted that, according to the agriculture Ministry, in 2013 Russia imported tomatoes at $1.1 billion, cucumbers $3.4 million and other vegetables at $488 million, and the share of imported vegetables in the structure of consumption was 66%.

"These figures show the significant potential of importozameschenie vegetables, and the ratio of the volumes are in favor of the production of tomatoes,"said Korolev.

According to the draft, the new greenhouse will give 7.6 thousand tons of tomatoes per year, which for the company will mean 600 million roubles annual revenue in the budget of the region will be channeled to 36.8 million.

The production run will create 140 jobs with an average salary of 25 thousand rubles.

From the total amount of investment of own funds of the company will be 26%, other budget support to join the network and subsidies for the payment of interest on the loan. Out of a total investment of 21 million euros to be spent on equipment, 70% of which are purchased abroad. Therefore, the calculations take into account the exchange rate variations. Mikhail Korolev says that the calculation of the project cost based on the Euro 62 of the ruble, but at the rate of 66 rubles it is economically justified. If the European currency will move abroad 67 rubles, then the estimates will need to be revised. According to preliminary calculations, the payback period will be 7 years, and the payback period budget attachment 5 years.

The head of the Department of agriculture region Stanislav Aleinik said that the investor can expect a new kind of support relevant ministries - reimbursement of expenses in the amount of up to 20%.

Governor Yevgeny Savchenko noted that the pace of development of the greenhouse cluster, which involves the creation in the area of 500 ha of greenhouses, weak, and noted that they must be accelerated. According to General Director of Corporation "Development" Mikhail Savchenko, now in the region is based on 30 ha of greenhouses.
