The genetic material of the pathogen ASF was found in domestic pigs put on slaughterhouse in LLC "IPC "Agrofood" the Belgorod region. "The spread of the virus in the enterprise "Agrofood" cropped", - TASS was told by the assistant Commissioner Alexei Alekseenko.

Also the genetic material of the pathogen ASF was found in domestic pigs delivered for slaughter in CJSC "Orelselprom" Orel region where the epidemic is already widespread. Infected animals had entered the slaughter of households in Voronezh and Orel regions.

Also gene of African swine fever was detected in the body of the wild boar found in the territory of the forest in the Orel region, added Alekseenko.

Livestock from the affected farms in December of the current year there were on pig company Tambov, Voronezh, Orel, Belgorod, Smolensk, Lipetsk, Moscow, Penza, Nizhny Novgorod regions previously found the veterinary service.
