From Astrakhan canning company next year will begin to deliver in the regions of frozen broccoli and cauliflower. According to General Director of the plant Alkalaeva Khalid, in a situation when in Russia there is a food embargo, such products are quite in demand.

According to him, about 18 thousand tons of broccoli in colored cabbage imported into Russia. At the moment, the import decreased by 76% so you can see the little. Many companies even expressed readiness to make advance payments on contracts.

He noted that producers from Russia was mostly made pre-packaged noodle these products, why this company and began to grow. He said that the climate gives the possibility of harvesting this cabbage twice a year, but this is not possible in all regions.

Farmers from Astrakhan this year raised an experimental batch of cauliflower (40 tons) and broccoli (5 tons), which until the end of the year will be on the shelves of stores Astrakhan.

It is expected that next year, there will be 300-400 tonnes of cauliflower and 100 tons of broccoli, which will give the opportunity to take about 6-7% in the Russian market. In 2017 plans to produce several thousand tons of vegetables.

As was reported at the plant, the processing volume this year will grow by 10% and will reach about 20 thousand tons. Next year due to the freezing of vegetables plan to increase production to 25 thousand tons of products.
